PRIX PICTET Opening of the Award Exhibition at the V&A Museum, London
Storm is the theme for the eleventh cycle of the Prix Pictet. The Prix Pictet’s global network of over 350 nominators identified portfolios of work that align with the eleventh theme. These portfolios were reviewed by the independent jury chaired by Sir David King. The Storm shortlist was presented at the Rencontres d’Arles in July 2025. The eleventh laureate will be announced at the opening of the award exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London in September 2025.

EXHIBITION at the XPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL - Sharjah, UAE.
The Xposure International Photography Festival is one of the most prestigious events in the world of photography, held annually in Sharjah, UAE. In 2024, I had the honor of participating and presenting my project Tribute To Odesa. This experience was incredibly enriching, offering me the opportunity to share my artistic vision and engage with fellow professionals and photography enthusiasts.

LOBA AWARD CEREMONY Ernst Museum, Germany
The Russian war in Ukraine continues to rage day after day. The starting point for the photographer’s series was the question of what existence in a state of war might look like? In June 2022 she travelled to Odesa, where she captured touching motifs reflecting daily life for the Ukrainian population. Her series is a testimony to humaneness, hope and courage during devastating times – and speaks about how life goes on despite adverse circumstances. “When finding motifs for my photographs in Odesa or any other location, I seek to capture scenes that evoke a sense of place and convey the unique atmosphere and feeling of the city,” the French photographer (born 1979), who currently lives in Munich, explains.

Following the award ceremony on October 12 in Wetzlar, an extensive exhibition of all the LOBA shortlist series will be on display at the Ernst Leitz Museum, accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue.

The Overseas Press Club of America is the nation’s oldest and largest association of journalists engaged in international news. Every year, it awards the most prestigious prizes devoted exclusively to international news coverage. It was founded in 1939 by nine foreign correspondents in New York City, and has grown to nearly 400 members worldwide. The club’s mission is to uphold the highest standards in news reporting, advance press freedom and promote good fellowship among colleagues while educating a new generation of journalists.
